Students will find there are very few extra credit opportunities available to them throughout the year. This is because students are allowed to do 2 book reviews every semester to help boost their grade. This is an all or nothing project, meaning the student either completes all components to the instructor's satisfaction or they receive no points. NO PARTIAL CREDIT. Students will need the packet attached to complete this assignment.
Please note, I'm happy to have students bring me a copy of the book they would like to read, so I can check to make sure the book is challenging enough to meet the requirements for this assignment. The list within this packet is a work in progress, and I look forward to adding options as students introduce me to them. I feel, however, that it is important to note that the book MUST be approved by me, or no points will be made available to the student. ALL (listed or not) books must be shown to me at least ONE WEEK before I receive the book review.
